I know it's easy to get down on yourself about this, but please know that MANY moms have this sort of thing happen. Sometimes breast-feeding just does NOT work no matter what you do, and that's the dirty little secret no one wants to tell you in the baby books. Looking back now, one thing to remember is, whether you breast or bottle fed is such a tiny part of your child's life in the long run. By the end of the first year, no one will be asking about it, and it just won't be a big deal. I promise. You sound like a great mom already! I’m so happy that you were reassured by my article. I am still so upset breast feeding didnt work for us after 2 weeks of tears, no latching, low milk supply, lots of pumping and endless meetings with lactation consultants. not to mention all of the $ spent on supplements to try to get more milk. I have been in tears ever since we made the choice to stop, and bottle feed. I feel like I failed at the very first task of motherhood. You word truly comforted me! thankyou for the great advice!
